What are primary directions?
As the heavens turn after the moment of birth, the planets are carried to meet one another. Each meeting marks a moment in the life to come.
The technique has been practiced continuously since at least 300 BCE, across Babylon, the Hellenistic world, the Islamic golden age, and Renaissance Europe. It has never had a dedicated home. That is what this organization is for.
Four pillars.
Conferences
An annual international gathering. The first, this coming February, is devoted entirely to directions.
Research
Funded stipends and DIRECTIO, a journal for new work, with the CAELi Institute.
Education
A course academy and scholarships to study with the field's finest teachers.
Community
A worldwide network of practitioners: a living map, forums, and a directory of the whole field.
